As week two in the NFL comes to a close, here are some of the things you should know before going to school or work on Monday morning.
- Lamar Jackson became the first person in NFL history to have 250 passing yards and 120 rushing yards in the same game
- The Dolphins lost by a whopping 43 points to the Patriots, and Ryan Fitzpatrick threw two pick-6s in two minutes (will things ever get better?)
- Antonio Brown got his first touchdown of the season
- The Dallas Cowboys got their 2nd win in a tough divisional game over the Redskins
- While the Texans dominated their game early on, the Jaguars mounted a comeback and almost won, until Head Coach Doug Marrone called for a bad run play that cost them the game
- The Saints lost Drew Brees to an injury mid-game, and fell to the Rams
- Ben Roethlisberger got hurt in the Steelers’ loss to the Seahawks
- The Bears kicked a game winning field goal to beat the Broncos, shocking QB Joe Flacco after his two minute drill worked to perfection
- Patrick Mahomes passed for 313 yards... in the first half
- Today was the last game to be played on both a baseball and football field for the foreseeable future, as the Raiders will soon to move to Las Vegas
